In our opinion, Carolina's clean, classic aesthetic fits well with Stephenie Meyer's description of the 1920s antique ensemble, but mother of the bride suit we wanted to know what a real bridal expert had to say about the news.
There’s a new wedding dress to replicate. Summit evening dresses Entertainment has announced the designer of Kristen Stewart‘s character Bella’s wedding dress: Carolina Herrera!
"I think the headpiece, of what we've seen in that one little clip, will definitely fall in line. Very classic, very traditional, and having that kind of elegant almost Victorian-vintage twist. It kind of looks like she's wearing a longer veil, so that would be classic. When we see that aisle shot with the flowers and that kind of woodsy look, the dress that you would imagine Carolina designing has a lot of lace, a little bit of a chapel train to it and maybe fitted with a modified A-line or something like that. It's not going to be a huge, over-the-top gown."
Herrera has designed real-life wedding dresses for Christina Hendricks and Renée Zellweger. Do you think she was a good choice as a designer for this epic gown?
